These grants are intended to provide support for research projects focused on biologic reconstruction with a strong clinical translation component that utilize dermal, adipose, placental or other allograft transplant technologies. The PSF and MTF offer research grants for projects with a high likelihood of impact on scientific discipline and/or on patient care. Examples of clinical technologies of interest include but are not limited to the use of allograft biologics in breast reconstruction, wound healing, nose reshaping, soft tissue defect filling and other applications of allograft tissue in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
