Postponed: Essential Skills in Plastic Surgery Workshop

The Essential Skills in Plastic Surgery Workshop scheduled to place March 22-24 in Kenya has been postponed due to concerns surrounding the potential spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). The organizers of the event – a collaboration between The Plastic Surgery Foundation (The PSF), College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA) and the Surgical Society of Kenya (SSK) – are committed to rescheduling the workshop once the pandemic stabilizes.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The global impact of COVID-19 has resulted in the implementation of travel and other restrictions by governments, medical centers and associations designed to control the spread of the virus. The decision to postpone the Essential Skills in Plastic Surgery Workshop was difficult, but ultimately made in the best interests of attendees, instructors and support staff.

The faculty are actively working to determine a new date for the workshop and will notify registrants as new information becomes available.

Please direct any questions regarding refunds of registration fees or any other concerns to the Surgical Society of Kenya at sskenya2000@gmail.com or Stuart Tucker at stucker@plasticsurgery.org.

Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to providing additional information soon.
