SHARE Global Fellows
SHARE Global Fellowship
The SHARE Global Fellowship (2025-26) is open to surgeons in sub-Saharan Africa who are early in their clinical careers or senior-level residents. Global Fellows must have a demonstrated interest and ability in plastic surgery and a desire to participate in an online community for case presentations, lectures, collaboration and mentorship. SHARE Global Fellows receive mentorship and access to online educational materials from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, including access to the ASPS EdNet Resident Education Curriculum, a subscription to the journal Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and opportunities for research grant support.
The application period for the 2025-26 SHARE Global Fellowship is now closed.
SHARE Global Learners
SHARE Global Learners are junior-level residents in sub-Saharan Africa who are interested in learning more about the SHARE program. Global Learners are welcome to attend clinical and research presentations. As they advance in their training to become senior-level residents, SHARE Global Learners are encouraged to advance to the SHARE Global Fellowship.
2025-26 SHARE Global Fellows
SHARE Global Fellows are residents and junior surgeons from around the world who have demonstrated interest and ability in plastic surgery to establish an online community for regular case presentations, lectures, collaboration and mentorship. They share one common goal: to improve the quality and accessibility of needed reconstructive plastic surgery procedures in their communities.
