"Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day (BRA Day) is an annual event that aims to educate the public about breast reconstruction options after a mastectomy, and to celebrate the progress made in the field. It takes place on the third Wednesday of October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Join my staff and I as we commemorate this day with fellowship, fun, and a bevy of great food/ beverages!

Christiana Care Center for Breast Reconstruction invites you to share your breast reconstruction journey! Your personal story, poem, song, dance, painting, drawing, sculpture, or any other form of creative expression will be featured at our event.

Pink Ribbon Jax is an all-volunteer nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that funds free mammograms and breast imaging services for uninsured and underinsured in Jacksonville, FL. In just these past three years, they’ve raised more than 4,200 life-saving mammograms for those in need. We will have many amazing items to win!

Get our local community involved in a breast reconstruction campaign to inform, guide, and support our breast cancer patients and survivors in Dalton, GA!

A virtual event, hosted by a panel of board-certified plastic and breast surgeons, providing education to patients and consumers about the breast reconstruction process.

The Centre, P.C. will create a sign that will be hung up outside of the clinical and medical spa doors, and an educational social media post to go up on October 15th.

The Breast Cancer Summit is an annual forum that supports breast cancer awareness, education, advanced medical practices, procedures, and technologies. Bringing together industry, hospital, and clinical leaders, this yearly event provides a space for experts in the field to discuss how they are navigating the ever-evolving world of healthcare as it pertains to the fight against breast cancer.

Our annual Celebration of Survivorship features a panel of survivors who share their journey following their breast cancer diagnosis. Their comments provide inspiration and hope to the breast cancer community.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Dr. Vijay Bindingnavele with Corpus Plastic Surgery & MedSpa in conjunction with Esperanza de Tejas (a 501c3 serving South Texas) invites Nueces County students in grades K–12 to participate in our Awareness through Art contest. This initiative encourages young artists to explore the theme of hope, strength, unity, and support through visual storytelling, while helping raise awareness for breast cancer. 3 selected entries from each age group will receive scholarship awards in recognition of their creativity and message. Winning art work will be displayed around the City of Corpus Christi with local businesses.

Family Support and Community Connection Event! Join us at UTMB League City Campus for an inspiring evening celebrating the vital role of family and community in the breast cancer journey. Formerly known as "Ladies' Night Out", this reimagined event feature hors d'oeurvres, heartfelt patient testimonials, interactive conversations with UTMB's breast care team, light entertainment, and a decorated bra runway show honoring creativity, courage, and survivorship. Come connect, share, and support.

Patients, families and friends, surgeons, referring physicians- event to raise awareness for breast cancer and reconstruction opportunities. Educational and fun event to celebrate those who have survived cancer, had breast reconstruction, and those that would like to learn more about breast reconstruction for themselves or a family member.

Each year, Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic hosts BRAs of the Bay to help close the loop on breast cancer and raise awareness of the breast reconstruction rights of breast cancer patients and those who need risk-reducing mastectomies. Last year, we raised an incredible $43,000 for the Ribbon of Hope Foundation to support breast cancer patients in Northeast Wisconsin! With over 500 attendees and 50 decorated bras from our community, it was an inspiring night of solidarity.
