This study is a prospective, multi-institutional, noninferiority, randomized control trial that will compare the efficacy of two antibiotic treatments in preventing SSI in patients receiving immediate breast reconstruction with tissue expanders (TE-BR).

Completed Studies

BREAST-Q

This study was developed to create a new patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) that would provide essential information about the impact and effectiveness of breast surgery.

CRAFT

This study evaluated the relative risk of breast cancer recurrence after autologous fat grafting to the breast compared to not receiving fat grafting in a hospital-based population of stages I, II and III breast cancer patients who had mastectomy with immediate reconstruction.

FACE-Q

This study aims to develop and validate an online FACE-Q survey. FACE-Q is a clinically useful, patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) of satisfaction and quality of life following elective surgical and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation.

FRANCHISE

This study aims to compare the outcomes in digit amputation patients treated with finger amputation vs finger replantation, for the purpose of determining factors influencing the decision to amputate or reconstruct following finger trauma.

SPAR

This was a multi-center, double-blind, randomized, controlled study to investigate the effects of the Obagi Nu-Derm System (ONDS) before and after chemical peel or ablative laser resurfacing in healthy adult female volunteers.

VTEP

This was a multi-center study, designed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of post-operative enoxaparin prophylaxis for venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention.
